Bethune Rd, N16 5BDI've lived near Stoke Newington for a while now and always liked its high street.
Stoke Newington is cute, but I do think it has become a bit yummy mummy ish since i've lived here.
Transport
Stoke Newington Overground is my closest stop on the TFL network. There are buses too going up and down the bottom of my road (bit irritating if I'm honest) and then down Stamford Hill. It's all fine, just overcrowded to busy all of the time.
Community
Parking is alright on my street - not great, but not terrible. What I hate are the speed bumps. They're just so annoying to have. Streets are mainly clean though, just bin days where they can get a bit messy.
Amenities
I've lived near Stoke Newington for a while now and always liked its high street. The parks here are also really quaint. There are a number of big supermarkets near me so i can get whatever I need. The Woodberry Wetlands are a little known London spot and great to run around.
Lordship Park, N16 5UNWonderful place to raise a family
The area does feel incredibly up market. The streets are well kept and clean and Clissold Park so nearby is a real joy. Its beautiful. I couldn't recommend this area enough.

The area has great transport links including super convenient bus routes into central London, a short walk to the tube and overground services. This area is well connected.
Community
My street is very quiet and feels very residential. There is low traffic noise and no anti-social behaviour. It feels incredible safe and secure. It is mostly families who live here.
Amenities
Stoke Newington is spoilt with a fantastic range of restaurants, pubs and cafes. The range is cuisine is fantastic. This area also has all of the shops you could need. All in walking distance.
