There are so many local parks and areas of green that you wouldn’t expect so close to London. The little cafe’s and friendly faces that become so familiar are one of the best parts of living in Earlsfield. This area is brining in an abundance of new stores becoming a hot spot for every type of person. I feel relatively safe in this area considering it is London and you hear horror stories all the time but there is limited truth in these and what is portrayed as terrible is usually a minor altercation that you would get anywhere. There are many dogs and pets and children which people wouldn’t choose to have here if it was not a safe place to live. It is wonderful living here and having the outdoor lifestyle of a pub on a Sunday with some good so well balanced with being able to jump on a train into London in less then 15 minutes.

Located right on the mainline to Waterloo, Earlsfield couldn’t get any better with transport. There is always a provision of night busses that run like clockwork and if that’s not your thing there are AWLAYS Uber drivers waiting for your business. The train station team are friendly and always happy to help.

Bin collection for myself lands on a Thursday and there are always people willing to help if you run out of recycling bags a bit quickly! There are an abundance of traffic wardens which may be problematic to some but these guys work tirelessly day in and day out to ensure I get my parking space haha! The variety of young professionals, families and students all living harmoniously is a sight to see. Everyone is willing to help and you get to meet the most extraordinary people in day to day life. With so many estate agencies located on the high street there is always someone to contact if you’re renting. If you live on the main road it can seem a bit noisy but not into the wee hours, and everyone disperses pretty quickly. All in all a very pleasant place to live

I moved to Earlsfield a few months ago and have found since that there have been some brilliant independent shops as well as a useful Tesco and Sainsbury’s. These independents are so friendly and welcoming and I’ve met some wonderful members of the community that are willing to help. The abundance of produce available was unexpectedly pleasant and I don’t have to venture outside did the area to get everything I need to feed my family. The local pubs I visit, mainly the wandle and the Earlsfield all have great food and a great atmosphere and the area keeps improving by adding more bars like Tequila Mockingbird to keep business thriving in the area. Even with the current economic climate new stores are popping up, more recently nysa which looks like a lovely little wine and drinks shops. From hairdressers to estate agents, design and build companies and eateries Earlsfield literally has everything you could need. If you’re a fan of Indian food, Nazmins is the place to visit, but the abundance of cafes and eating out options are incredible for a small town in London.

We love community feel in Earlsfield! It’s has been amazing support especially through the lockdown when ever supported each other ie through local Facebook group. It’s nice to know your neighbors, local businesses owners and pop in for a coffee when they know your order once you walk in though the door!

Earlsfield train station has great connection to Clampham, Vauxhall and London Waterloo (12 minutes) and train run every 2 minutes at peak time Plenty of frequent buses to Tooting, Wandsworth, and Waterloo

Garratt Lane is very convenient but with not too much traffic noise. We never witness anti social behaviour Parks are just few minutes away so you can escape hustle and bustle easily

We absolutely love living in Earlsfield! It’s only 12 minutes away from London Waterloo(trains every two minutes) and it’s thriving community with lots of green space, parks, river walks and bustling nightlife. There is a great selection of amazing pubs in the area: Leather Bottle, (with its huge outdoor space), Jolly Gardners( famous for its food), The Earlsfield Pub( great roast and ribs), The Wandle(live music and Sunday Pub quiz) and many many more. Earlsfield has a huge range of fantastic restaurants: Maki & Co for sushi lovers Amrutha Lounge - number 1 restaurant on Tripadvisor with amazing vegan food Award winning curry at Nazmins Blind tasting menus at The Eclectic Collection (also great brunch and coffe) Il Girasole - which has been voted top 10 restaurant in London. It’s a great place for coffee and brunch lovers - Bean and Hop, Belle Ami and De Rosier just to mention a few! There are few gyms,both independent and big complexes available for those who want to stay fit. Earlsfield is great for family activities: parks offer mini golf and tennis, big trampoline park - Flip Out, and newly opened kids soft play and coffee place - Tribe Time. There is also Library and few music studios in the area. There is also plenty for retail therapy : starting with independent shops like Lark to big Southfields shopping centre. There are few supermarkets and new M&S is coming to town soon.
