The area I live in is a busy one. You’ll see people going about their day to day lives no matter the time of day but not to the point where it is overwhelming which is what I like the most. With plenty of open spaces, it is great for people with children, pets or those who simply want to take in their surroundings.
Transport
There are a number of tube stations where I live. Regents Park and Great Portland Street tube stations are within 1 minute walking distance. Warren Street and Baker Street stations are also close by but take about 5/10 minutes to reach. There are also a number of bus stops within 2 minutes walking distance taking you into different parts of London at ease.
Community
There are a number of bars and restaurants in the area but we are not affected by any noise or anti social behaviour. There is plenty of parking spaces, some that you can pay to rent, so parking isn’t too difficult. There are a lot of owners and students in the street.

There are many different types of shops in the area. I have three supermarkets within 5-10 minutes walking distance, all offering a different range of products at different prices. I also have gardens and parks accessible by foot by literally crossing a road which is great.

I love my area, it is one of the most high-end places to live in London. Very suitable for children and pets with Hyde Park right around the corner. The number of people on the streets is one of the things that I dislike the most.
Transport
W1 is a very central area and has lots of tube stations all around, as well as lots of buses and cycle routes. So getting around London from here is no problem at all. Anywhere in London is maximum 40 mins - 50 mins away. London Underground is very reliable and I use it to get to work all the time. However, the tube does get very busy during rush hour and I wouldn't say the air is the cleanest.

The street I live on is very clean and has a classic British look. The buildings around are very beautiful. However, construction sites, lack of parking and a high number of tourists can be some negatives. There is a mix of renters and owners on my street who I know.
Amenities
Mayfair has lots of high-quality shops and restaurants all around it due to its central and touristic nature. Londons most famous open spaces such as Hyde Park is right around the corner and is a great park to go to for all events all year round.
