What I most like about my local area is that it is a place capable of making good memories - I have many whilst growing up here and will continue to do so. Whilst the area does give off a long-lasting sense of nostalgia, you can’t help think if thats all it will be, that is, the past: it’s rather outdated and looks lost in time compared to its newly renovated counterparts. It is simply in need of regeneration. In regards to safety, its not completely accomplished - a few anti-social groups still linger at night. It would really help if lighting at night was better in terms of its frequency (having more lights to cover dark spot areas) and brightness (brighter rather than murky-alleyway orange).
Transport
N4 is positively overwhelmed with transport availability. Not only is it benefited with its own underground tube station (Manor House) but it is encompassed by so many (day and night) bus stations - you’d find difficulty trying to not get to your destination in time.
Community
Discouraging and controlling anti-social behaviour has significantly improved the past couple of years - there’s more direct and indirect surveillance (e.g. warning posters, disturbance phone numbers). For an area near the main road, traffic noise never seems to be present in its existence. Our streets are typically owned by couples and families.
Amenities
There’s a minimum range of local shops, restaurants, bars and open spaces within walking distance. Locals have easy access to limited but good quality amenities. While there are some good quality local-typical restaurants (e.g. kebab shop), there are also popular ones rising in the ranks, for instance, Dobar. In fact, a lot of people travel some distance to eat there and there’s always a queue, it gives a rather good rep to the N4 area, mainly because the food is really great apparently. N4 is also known for the grandiose Finsbury Park, the common ground for the annually-hyped Wireless festival.

There's a local gym for everyone who wants to use it, a local church and mini mosque for anyone's religious. A reservoir which is one of the biggest attractions in London, most families tend to come. Some restaurants and pizzerias nearby. Local stores like sainsbury's who which makes living easier without a car. A lot of parking spaces and actuvities to join like sailing and kayaking for the sport lovers. Overall a peaceful and friendly place.
Transport
Luckily our area is near to a train station just down the road which most people access, sometimes it does get busy during work hours however there's a bus station right next to it which can easily lead you to your destination without a worry. There's a highway, so there's a lot of space for cars to move around which means its really rare if there's traffic. However if there is traffic there are many other routes you can take to reach your destination. Trains are regular and connect to kings cross. The station is slightly dirty however it's peaceful when you want a calm ride home or to work. The Main Street is clean, about 3.5/5 I've seen many cleaners around that help out.
Community
There I see a lot of flat screen in our area and a lot still being built which has around 3-4 bedrooms, there's many families who come around especially to the nearest park that has playground and activities that they can have. There's a few students but rarely cause there's no colleges or universities nearby, only a secondary school. Bin collections are regular and keep the streets clean, everyone is friendly, especially store keepers. Not much traffic noise, it's mostly quite unless you travel outside. There's a lot of parking spaces, if you live in flats you've hotbed your own parking area. There's a gym you can visit and a church which means there's a lot of parking areas.

We have a local reservoir/lake which is the biggest attraction including the swans and ducks that live there which attracts families especially in the summer where most people are out in the park they can let their children play in the playground. There's also lesson for sailing or kayaking. The second lake has a coffee shop that most people like to visit when they've walked round or rest, most families also walk over there to spend time in the shade in summer. The area also has new constructions, flats that look stunning at night when it lights but up and most people buy the flats because of the view at the top where you can see the whole of London. There's a fountain that changes colours and lights up especially during the night. Local stores and cafes around so you don't be have to walk off too far for the store. It's the best place in London.

Great transport links with ver easy access. It can get busy during rush hour with lots of traffic although it gets quieter after 8pm which is perfect.

It can be hard to find parking. Anti social behaviour can be present on the evenings and weekends. Mostly families renting and couples working in the City.
Amenities
It’s a lovely energetic and vibrant area, full of adventure! One of my favourite restaurants is the Turkish delight Otantic! You get a lovely variety!
