The area is nice and friendly, as there are lot of children playing in the park without any issues or worry. It is always kept clean. It is quite a old building howeve it suits the type of people living there as lot are families and they prefer the vintage look overall. It is very safe for children and pets as the building is always busy and people continously coming in and out. Never had any issues with safey of children or pets.
Transport
Transport links are very close as I mentioned before. Easy access to DLR, trains and bus. There are also public Santander cycles which can be rented out. There are also taxi service office near by. The buses ar very reliable and comes every 19 minutes. The DLr comes every 2 mins. The DLR last call is around 1am however there are night busses available. Otherwise it's easier to get on at cnaety wharf station and walk to home as underground trains tend to run longer at midnight. The rush hour times are not so bad either even at peak times there are spaces available on the DLR. Same applies to the busses. Transport services keep the equipments very and reliable for sure. It would have been little easier if Limehouse station was closer howeve the DLR takes you straight there so it's not so bad. There are 115, D3, 227, 135 that run from the bus stops. From DLR it would be towards Greenwich, Lewisham on one end and the other end will be Bank to get into City which is one direct DLR.
Community
The area is very clean without any issues. There are estate parking available for resident for a weekly charge of around £15 which is not too bad. There are bin taken Monday to Friday every morning and it's always done on time without any issues. There are no ani social behaviours, you will see young people socialising in the street but never gives any trouble and not causing any harm. The area is filled with people from all background now. So lot of families of all races along with students too. More families than couple but has a mix of all. Everyone is friendly and have never heard or experienced bad neighbourhood in the street. The cleaners are always there everyday in the morning sweeping floor and cleaning. Overall it is a nice and quiet area with nice surroundings.

There are many local stores and resturarant nearby within couple of yards. The DLR is 1 minute walk and bus stop right next to DLR. Definitely easy to get around for sure. The DLR connect to the Limehouse train. The nearest supermarket is Asda but there are also Lidl which is roughly 10 minutes drive and opposite is Tesco Metro. There is doctors gp surgery about 2 minutes walk and pharmany along with post office about 5 minutes walk so most required places are very close by. Primacy school called Cyril Jackson school for children is just across the road so very close. Secondary school called St Paul's way is 10 mins drive or 20 mins walk. Tower hamlet college is 10 mins walk. So all essential amenities are very close by for sure. There is a pub which is 2 minutes walk and Canary wharf which has bars and more restuarants, roughly 10 minutes walk maximum. There are places to socialise just as jubilee place which is open grass area for people to sit down and socialise. Canary wharf station is very close and will be 10 minutes walk to get to. Most popular areas are the river side which is very calming with amazing views, just to take a nice walk along it leads you to Canary wharf itself and Poplar area not far from there, just across a bridge. Lot of people will cycle along the river island and enjoy the fresh air whilst many will sit on benches provided and enjoy company of friends whilst looking at the river view. There is also a private nursery couple of yards away for toddlers. There aren't any amenities which is missing.

The area is beautiful and inviting. For us, apart from the fantastic central location, the maritime feeling and rich history in the area made us truly fall in love. The sense of community, almost like in a small town with lots of pet owners and young families, is an additional plus.
Transport
The area is well connected to the east and west because of many DLR stops, making travel towards Canary Wharf and the city very fast, convenient and pleasant. Waiting times can be longer when travelling to some of the branch destinations, but trains are very regular and reliable on the whole. The trains and stations are clean and safe and staff are very friendly. The closest tube stations are on the Isle of Dogs which can make journeys to the north or south rather less convenient. There is a stop for the c2c service, allowing to make the journey to Southend-on-Sea in 45 minutes. Bus connectivity is good, with reliable service and clean buses. Uber boat services are available from Canary Wharf pier for a more expensive but very pleasant trip along the Thames.
Community
The area is pleasant and clean with pretty new built houses along with well kept historic buildings. People living in the street are typically young professional couples, often also with children. There is a generally friendly and welcoming atmosphere within the community.

There are a number of supermarkets for everyday shopping, many fantastic pubs and restaurants and all the shops and bars of Canary Wharf within short walking distance. The area offers a beautiful mix of the modernity of the financial hub and the vintage charm of old wharf buildings along the Thames. There are plenty of parks such as Ropemakers Field and Mile End Park as well as beautiful walks along the Thames, the canals and Limehouse Basin.
