We were lucky that the Primary school near us is so good as we didn't consider catchment areas or the like when moving here. Ranelagh Primary School (where our kids go) is excellent with fantastic management in place.
Transport
The transport links here are not bad. There are three or four bus routes at the end of our road. We're also close to tubes at West Ham and Plaistow. Abbey Road DLR is nearby too. And then there is the jubilee line at Stratford.
Community
Bearing in mind all the regeneration and modernization in Stratford, I think West Ham is still in need of some funding to be smartened up a bit. Our road itself is fine mainly - some houses are better maintained than others. It's always a bit of mess on bin day.

At the end of our street are a few shops. A chinese. A greasy kebab place called Fat Chaps. A newsagent, a dry cleaner for my husband's shirts. A dentist. Lots of shop fronts to be honest - not any of them the highest quality. Useful to have though. Just looks very run down all the time. Westfield is just under 20 minutes walk away. West Ham Playground Play park is good to keep the kids entertained.

Transport is good but could be better the are hardly any busses coming on time or any bus stops near by or ant train stops

There are bins every where witch is good there is also great parking space but it’s mostly full of family’s so sometimes u could get a space

Transport
The transport links are excellent, you have dlr, underground, overground, bike lanes, national rail as well as coaches and a bus station. However the roads are riddled with potholes that never get fixed.

My street has loads of anti social behavour, gangs of youths congregating outside dealing drugs, the police turning up is a regular occurence. Parking is fine as we have permits. We live close to the dlr so there is the constant noise of ir going past

There isnt enough variety of shops in the area for me. There have been plenty of times when I have been unable to obtain a simple item such as rubbing alcohol, mouse traps, or an air can for cleaning dust. Forcing me to drive somewhere or get it online. However the parks are very good and numerous.
