The thing that I most like about my area is the people and how polite and how comfortable and safe they make me and my family feel, the atmosphere here in Stroudley is all calm everyone's happy and there's no problems whatsoever the area is very suitable for children and for pets too there's an open area where children could ride their bike and people who own pet's could walk their dogs there or take their cats out of a little walk, the area overall is suitable for both children and pet's. The area is very safe the crime rate here is very low and there is no gang violence unlike E14.

Stroudley has one of the best transport communication out of E2, E14 we have the 25 bus which departs from Bow Church Station we have the DLR and the underground all within the reach of 128 feet from Stroudley, the busses have a fixed regular time and so far I have not experienced any delays whatsoever we have busses which takes in Aldgate so people who work out of East London can go to work without no problem and traffic rate is less from E3 compared to areas like E14 near Blackwall Tunnel so for example for me it takes about 45 to 50 minutes to get to my college which is in King's Cross and I don't experience any traffic apart from the traffic lights which only hold you back for 3 to 4 minutes the area is very clean we have a regular clean up check done every week end and the cleaner is also very friendly and very polite he communicates well with others and one problem will be that there's a lack of buses at night rather than that as I said before it's an amazing area.

Parking availability isn't the best neither is it the worst there's no traffic Noises and In our street it's mostly couples and families.

So to start with the range of local shops is they are near your house only a 3 to 4 minute walk away and the quality is very good the shopkeepers are very helpful as well as very polite and kind the area I live in is a superb area I really love it here we have a famous fast food shop named "Stroudley PFC" They are named after the area which Is called Stroudley Walk. We also have a McDonald's down to the right and there is also a Primary school as well as a nursery so if you live here in Stroudley in Bow you won't have to worry about your child's school, overall the area is great and one of the best I've been in and lived in we have two fast food shops and a barber ad well as a local shop and we also have a park for kids which overall is a very good The only ementie which I personally think is missing it's a gym but that gets replaced by the fantastic outdoor gym we have in our public park which is open for anybody at any time, the area is very big and there are very friendly people including, I love it a lot here.

The best thing about my local area is that it is very children friendly. It has schools close by, children centres also close by for toddlers and young babies. As a mother myself it really helps. Community is lovely. There’s food places close by so easier access to get takeaway or eat in a restaurant. Also, lots of cafes close by which really helps to get some quick breakfast. Transport to one place to another is excellent as theres bus stop in every corner to where I live. And last but not least, it has a huge park close by (Victoria park) perfect for the summer or a quick walk in the winter to watch the ducks. I think it’s perfect for this neighbourhood. We have couples and families and elderly people who has easy access to everything. I also remembered there’s a doctors / dentist / chemists and opticians so close literally 5 minute walk so I feel like this local area is really good for anything to be honest. There’s nothing to worry about and it’s very safe. Atmosphere is calm and buzzing at the same time. In conclusion, I would say this local area is the best in terms of easy access to everything, it ticks all the boxes.

Literally 1 minute walk to the bus stop. Bus takes you to both Mile End station and Bethnal Green station. Only disadvantage is school hour rush where bus does get very busy and packed. 339 does take a long time to come.
Community
There’s nothing wrong with where I live. Different type of people live the whole neighbourhood - old people/couples/families/kids etc I would say both renters and home owners live around me but mostly renters. Parking is an okay situation. It’s more of finding a good spot to park. Bin collection is good as it comes weekly. There is no traffic noise. We all get along as a community and people are very friendly. There’s some people who are quite anti social but not everyone is the same.

In my area we have everything close by. Local shops, supermarkets and a market (Roman road market) 3 x a week. Perfect for the locals and others. We have different type of food close by for takeaway or eating in. (Pre lockdown days) it would be good to have a bigger supermarket as Tesco and iceland don’t always have what we need

The area has clearly undergone regeneration but the new schemes lack amenities and reasons for people to stay in the area. It is only here to live at the moment and be deserted in the day for people at work elsewhere and no social aspects. The regeneration of neighbouring areas will hopefully bring much needed residents services to the area

The ease of getting to Stratford, Canary Wharf and the City by tube is evidently good. The roads are always extremely busy at rush hour and suffer massively from high pollution levels. Travelling north is difficult as it can only be done by road and therefore suffers from traffic problems
Community
My street is mostly renters or those in first time buyer schemes consisting of young couples and families. There aren’t many positives of living in the street, except there is a sense of community with the neighbours

The local area lacks a lot of those amenities you’d expect to find in an area as densely populated as E3. Other than supermarkets there are very few specialist shops that then require a trip to Stratford or the City or Canary Wharf. It also lacks from decent local pubs with them very few and far between. Mile End has the majority of the pubs and restaurants, whereas the eastern end of Bow Road has two pubs and no restaurants at all. Living here is only for the location of its proximity to other places like Stratford, Hackney Wick and the ease of getting to the City and Canary Wharf. There is no reason for this area of Bow other than dense housing and little in terms of amenities
