The area is definitely up market and trendy. Doesn’t need much regeneration. Area is suitable for kids and pets as there’s also a local park. It’s quite safe with hardly any trouble
Transport
There’s plenty of bus routes that go through here and also have a few Overground stations. It is missing a local Underground station but the nearest one is Bethnal Green
Community
There’s no free parking in area, it’s all residential or pay & display. Bin collection is weekly. The new traffic layout has made traffic a nightmare. On my street it’s mainly owners and renters with couples and families.
Amenities
There is a big range of food in this area from Turkish, Burgers, Italian, Cafes, etc and also a big range for the vegans. There’s plenty of local shops which sell locally sourced items and also help the local area. Anywhere you go in Hackney you’ll see there’s a huge range. The popular areas are Shoreditch for nightlife, Dalston also has a night life but has decent restaurants also. Morning Lane has designer outlets. If you travel around you’ll find all sorts. I wouldn’t know what to say is missing, I guess I’m blessed living here

It feels like its own small town - Victoria Park Village reminds me a bit of the town from Gilmore Girls, Star Hollows :) Most of the coffee shops, convinient stores and restaurants are still independent rather than massive chains which is good, with the ocassional Gail's and Londis.

Great bus connections but far from train stations; Homerton is 15+min walk, Hackney Central is a 20+ min walk, as is Bethanal Green. Good cycling links though

Very safe and quite, mainly families. I would say it is an equal divide between home owners and renters, there is also a school on the street, it hasnt been noisy so far but we are in a pandemic and im not sure it has even been open

The part where I live in E9 is right by Victoria Park - Victoria Park village is very cute and cosy, with some great restaurants, coffee shops, and little independent boutiques. Victoria Park is a lovely park and is separated into two larger parks, both of which are beautiful, and there is a great food market. The only annoying thing is that there arent many shops around open later at night as Londis shuts early and the closest Sainsburys is 15 mins away

Street is made of good mixture of home owners and renters and is a very desirable location due to it being very trendy.

Loads of shops now with alot of then very trendy shops but has become car free so impossible to drive or park in area anymore.
