I love living here, but don't think I could ever afford to buy my own home in the area.
Transport
East Dulwich train station gets me into London Bridge where I change for the tube to get me into the center of town for work. It's fine, but can get busy in the morning rush hour and on the way home. It's often standing room only for most of my journey.
Community
I like the diversity of living in Dulwich but also close proximity to Peckham. It's a really pleasant suburb with lots of families and young professionals living here.
Amenities
I live just off the high street with all its cafes, bars and shops. I love the diverse range of places to go and shop - though as they are all independent, they don't always offer the best value for money. My local M&S is good for when my food supplies are low, but I try to do my bigger shops at the Tesco superstore in Peckham. I make use of the Common there too when I can.

I like that I feel safe here & I can get everything I need which are definitely good quality in just a few minutes of walking.

Thw shops on both sides (down or up the road) are all very close and just within walking distance. I can get everything in one go.

It is quite and safe. People are generally just minding their own business & don’t give any trouble to anyone.

The shops around my area are excellent. We have everything for everything necessary & more. These shops are just a 10-20 minutes away from my place so I can just walk there.

The busses run a little often so you don’t have to wait that long for a bus. In the area there are many buses that take you to different directions it’s very convenient

I’m not sure about parking as I don’t have a car but when people who do come over they don’t seem to have trouble finding a spot.

It’s an okay area but it’s s known you be dangerous and home to gangs so that does leave people a little worried. It’s a very diverse community which is nice. You’ve got access to a lot of different shops from clothing to food and there is a gym and a library near by.
