What I like the most is the parks and what I don't like is pollution. There is a Chiswick Market that I know of near me but I haven't been there. I think Chiswick has a friendly environment and I sure do recommend my area to other people. It is very suitable for kids and pets. I do think Chiswick is a safe environment and very clean indeed!

Personally I don't use the public transport but I do think that it is helpful. I've been on it when in an emergency for shopping and I had to wait for nearly an hour for the bus. I thought this was terrible. Chiswick is very clean as there is no litter dropped but in Chiswick House and Grounds, there is a lot of pigeon maneure which is disgusting. Because Chiswick is near central London there is a lot of pollution and is destroying the enviornment

There is a lot of space for cars to park which is very handy. The bin collectors come every week and everything is cleared out so there is no mess. Where I live there are many families and less students. Also there and dry mostly renters in my area. As I have said there Chiswick is close to Central London and there is a lot of traffic noise and pollution. This is a very big problem. There aren't many older kids or couples near me and only families. This increases the noise of little kids playing around but I'm okay with this personally.

I've moved to Chiswick in 2011. Ever since I've just loved Chiswick. The qualities of Chiswick is wonderful. There is a range of parks, shops and pubs. There are many open green space's in Chiswick. I don't think Chiswick can be improved.On a sunny day the parks are full of kids, families and pets which is a wonderful sight. If I had to add something I think there should be more activities for the kids and for adults too.

Becasue I walk dogs, I most like the open spaces, the woodland, the paths along the river, the friendliness of other dog walkers. I wouldn't call it 'trndy' here but certainly affluent. Very suitable for pets and children and, compared to other places I've lived, very safe.

Barnes and Barnes Bridge train stations get you anywhere you need to go. Plenty of choices of buses taking you into Hammersmith or Putney or Richmond if you need the tube. I've never needed a car here as everywhere is so easy to access via public transportation.

I'e lived here for many years and have never had a crime issue. Parking is fine (we have CPZ now) and my neighbours are all respectful of each other's spaces. Mostly owners here, very few renters. More families than couples.
Amenities
Barnes is a beautiful area. Although close to central London and well-served by trains and buses, it has the atmosphere of a village and there is a genuine sense of community here. Something about crossing over Hammersmith Bridge, you do feel very removed from the stress and grit of the city.
