Earlsfield has changed a bit in the last few years, with more boutique shops and cafes. Great for children and lots of places to take your pets for a walk in green spaces.
Transport
We have regular trains that travel directly to Waterloo in 12 minutes (3 stops) which means a quick connection to the underground! We are also very close to Southfields where the District line stops!
Community
Parking availability is limited although available. Although we have lovely bars in the area it is still very family oriented as well. I very rarely come across any anti-social behavior! As long as I have lived in the area, as long as you are just off Garratt Lane, it is very peaceful in terms of traffic noise and my street specifically are younger families or professionals. Bin collections happen for us every Thursday and we haven't been let down!

I have lived in the area for 7 years and find it to have everything I would look for in an area. Firstly, we have direct and regular trains to Waterloo which is only 3 stops (12 minutes) aways where you are able to connect to the underground! I live within a 10 minute walk of two large parks, including Wimbledon Park which is lovely (it has a lake and many tennis courts should you be interested). The cafes, bars (which include family friendly outside gardens) and restaurants are great with new ones regularly popping up. There are plenty of gyms to choose from, with two Nuffield gyms, a cross fit gym and many other independent gyms (both low cost and slightly more exclusive) within the area. The parks also have bootcamps which is a great way to meet new people. There is a good sized shopping centre, Southside Mall (with brands such as H&M, Next, TK Maxx, River Island, New Look etc), which is right next to the Ram Quarter with lovely pop up food stalls on the weekend (and more cafes and restaurants). Earlsfield has a mix of smaller grocery stores and larger ones such as Sainsbury's, Waitrose and Lidl.

earlsfield is served mainly by a good train station with direct and frequent trains straight to Waterloo. Tubes are relatively close by at tooting and Southfields and there are good local bus routes. We could do with more boris bikes!
Community
There is a good mix of people in Earlsfield. Family’s who have been here for generations alongside new young family’s, some students, and young house shares. On the while the area feels safe and family friendly, although I’ve noticed an increase in car crime (mostly things being taken from cars) and fly tipping. Parking is okay, no worse than anywhere else in London and local services are good with bin collects regular and the council are quick to respond to any problems, a bonus is the low council tax.

I live in Earlsfield and although it doesn’t have a tube station it more than makes up for it, not only are we close to Wandsworth common, there is also King Georges park which has 2 play areas and loads of space for recreation as well as the skate park on kimber road which is great for kids of all ages, you can also walk along the wandle river which is really nice. Shop wise not only have you got southside shopping centre which has all the big brand shops you need, Waitrose, Sainsbury’s decathlon, boots H&M but there are also lots of lovely local shops closer to the station - you can find anything you would need. Same goes for eating out, all the big names alongside some truly excellent local gems - La Chai being the jewel in the crown. There is a great Cineworld cinema as well as a really awesome backyard cinema and a local street food market at the weekends

The high street is amazing, there are a variety of shops, cafes and restaurants. However the block where I live, the entrance is very dirty, lifts smell of urine. Incidents of arson, luckily picked up very quickly. Just waiting to move out ASAP
