Nothing to dislike. It is a wonderful up and coming area with great people and vibes!

Transport

Acton has the most number of stations in London. We have over ground and underground links all of which mean you can get almost anywhere in London, really easily. With the new cross rail due to open within a few years, we are so lucky that central London will be closer than every. Cycle routes have improved over the past few years and should continue to do so. There is a great cycle path down the side of the A40 which speeds up journeys going west. Buses run well here too. There is a great service from Acton to Hammersmith which is sadly due to change at some point soon. Often car traffic can be bad on Churchfield road especially due to the level crossing. However, if you time it right you can avoid the crossing being down.

Community

My street is quietly pleasant. Luckily it is not a cut through meaning traffic flow is low. The residents are mainly elderly couples or families with a mix of teenage children and young children. We have great street parties and know all the neighbours both on our street and on the ones parallel. Noise from neighbours is rare. Gardens are close together so in the summer you might hear more noise. However, it is never unpleasant. Parking is alway easy along our street and parallel ones. And visitors can park at the end of the street using the app Pay By Phone, very easily. Bins are collected weekly - but alternating between recycling and refuse. They are collected on time each week. No complaints there!

Amenities

We have lovely privately owned shops and restaurants, pubs and cafes in our area. The very popular Churchfield Road is home to most of these. There is a wonderful pancake cafe called Mr Bake Me. Run by a greek chap called Athan. This is popular with the children and adults alike. Then we have a great bakery called Lavellis- perfect for coffee and cake or a sandwich or freshly baked bread. Heart and Soul is a wonderful flower shop where you get a great bunch of flowers for really reasonable prices. For a posher dinner date we have Fed and Watered which is a very upmarket and modern British family run restaurant with gourmet style food and a Master Chef finalist chef in charge. I can walk to 2 lovely large green open spaces from my home both with great children's play facilities.

However much I enjoy being from where I am, I feel the area does have its issues to tackle to do with crime and homelessness. I feel the area could do with some regeneration

Transport

There are many bus stops and train stations that are walking distance from my home. Travel is very easy for me which is lucky, the area of acton has a wide variety of ways to get around

Community

My street is one way, which can cause issues for drivers finding which entrance they can enter, and there is often a shortage of parking spots. In addition to this, I have had issues with drunkards loitering on my street, and even on one occasion an attempted break in to my home by a drunk presumably homeless man. My street consists mostly of renters I believe, ranging from couples to families.

Amenities

There is a range of shops along acton high street, just walking distance away where I can purchase almost everything I might need for my day to day such as food, kitchen appliances, books, magazines and even a couple of coffee shops. I have access to many open spaces such as acton Park, but these places can often be dangerous given the circumstances
