I live in Bedford hill, which is a main road. We have triple glazing so noise is not a problem. Garbage collection, including recycling is ok. The neighbourhood used to be more diverse, with artists and non white British people, with a strong Ghanaian component, still present in food shops and a clothes shop. Recent gentrification led to a large component of long haired slim blond yummy mummies.

Excellent supermarkets, delicatessen, varied restaurants, cafés, farmEr markets, Second hand charities shops, boutiques, good primary schools, bakeries. Immense choice of branch places. Lacks: bookshops.

Transport

the transport is very good. There are many buses 280,407,213,154. The Sutton Station is big Station  and traffic is ok.

Community

There are many parks. Manor park is very good park . The schools in my area are very good. It's brilliant for children and if you have pets,because of the many parks. I strongly recommend this area.

Amenities

There are many shops close to my house. There are Sainsbury, Asda, Tkmax Boots, superdrug, debenhams, poundland.  Many coffees, like Nero, Costa .

Just that I should have moved here sooner. Definitely suitable for children and pets, park is just around the corner and lots of servoces available.

Transport

Tube, rail, night and day buses to central London. No bike sharing but that's pretty much all that's missing!

Community

Quiet area, safe at night, no traffic, but not much nightlife and mostly for families so not many bars and pubs

Plenty of shops, little independent cafes and restaurants. 24h supermarket, transport super close night and day
