I mostly like how many modern buildings are so local to us at E14. It is very posh and the sites are beautiful. I moved here 2 years ago and there are still many places I’ve yet to discover! There are endless walks one could go on here at E14. I have 2 cats, both of which enjoy going out to explore the area. It is also child friendly because of the local parks and the farms
Transport
Both mudchute and island gardens station are of walking distance from me. They’re very convenient for travelling during my rush hour for school or work. During busy mornings these stations are kept clear and hazard free, they’re comfortable to access and use. I particularly enjoy using the trains in E14 as they are a quick and not too busy
Community
Parking availability however is not as convenient. Finding suitable parking spaces at correct hours of the day is difficult as cars are not allowed to enter or park in specific parts of Canary. However, the roads are easy to get around due to the roundabouts and main roads

E14, the heart of tourist attractions. During Christmas its the place to go. The outstanding effort put into the design of Christmas lighting here in E14 is an effective way of luring tourists. Many people have taken professional photos using the stunning futuristic sites and buildings, and are accompanied by Canary Wharf. There is also mudchute farm in a local distance which is a good space for family bonding and picnics. Children can interact with barn animals and have a great time!

The diversity here is great. The tradition of an old east end community, as well as the business types of Canary wharf. It's always felt safe here, theres lovely green spaces for families, and everything is so accessible. There's been a lot of development and regeneration and plenty of free events.

There's a great variety of transport links - underground, dlr, river boats and buses direct to central london. There's something weekend maintenance closures but it's also walkable to central London within an hour and Greenwich in 20 mins. Plenty of Santander cycle stations too!

It's mostly young families or young couples on my street. Parking is available to residents and there's usually road parking available for visitors . (Avoid the expensive car parks like canary wharf - a 10 minute walk will have road parking). I'm lucky to have a view I er the river! On the down side, there is petty crime such as bike thefts. Otherwise fairly safe

There's a mix of big city vibes to local green gems, from the cluster of Canary Wharf skyscrapers to llamas roaming around mudchute farm! This brings with it a diversity in the people - business types to typical EastEnders, and as a result restaurants range from upmarket to the best local chippies, Asian takeaway and corner cafes. Same with the glitzy bars to classic pubs. Plus being on the Thames offers outstanding views across the river and great walks along the Thames path and canals.

Quiet on weekends and very practical with good amenities and access to central London and it’s jobs/facilities. Area full of professionals and some young families. Green spaces nearby.
