The atmosphere has changed significantly in my area. It’s suitable for children and pets and everything but there’s no need for regeneration at this current point in time as gentrification is rapidly taking over the area. If regeneration is to be considered, local residents must be kept in mind as it seems as they had not been included when new shops had been brought up. The area is quite safe and is “trendy” with several markets occurring around Hackney Central. The best aspects however are the open spaces as everyone can use them.
Transport
Transport links are next to perfect for me. Overground is available in very convenient places with bus stops right outside making the transfer to a different form of transport very easy. Cycle routes are available everywhere as well. Night buses come at good regular intervals as I have seen there’s no unnecessary waiting time. The only problem that comes to mind is the constant and random closure of roads. Creates horrible congestion and traffic especially around Hackney Central, Clapton Pond and Dalston. It gets to the point where you have to get off and walk to your destination because there is no flow of traffic.

Parking availability is ok however bin collection is often lacking with rubbish building up in places especially like Pembury. Traffic noises are to a minimum but antisocial behaviour isn’t uncommon with cars getting stolen and all. On my street there’s a variety of different locals ranging from renters and owner as the area has now become very gentrified unfortunately. There’s a mixture of students, families and couples.
Amenities
Local shops aren’t as varied as it could be. Many cafes serve the same type of food. There’s not enough variety of affordable supermarkets for locals as everything has now been replaced with Vegan Whole Food stores. Open spaces are very nice on the other hand, they are very spacious and have several activities you can get on with. New restaurants popping up are quite varied, the food is nice.

I mostly love the feeling of inclusion the sense of community that i share with those in my street however the area in general although quite tidy could use some tlc due to damaged pavements and such on the other hand children could love it here due to the diverse relations

I am not so fond of public travel but our roads at times in my opinion can be rather peaceful simply wonderful for quiet weekends

We have a mixing pot of nationalities such as Bengali Black aswell as other ethnic minorities resulting in diverse culture

The Bakehouse located in our little E5 area is simply the most redeeming quality it comes off as humble and charming overall I reckon Underrated

The transport links are good with homerton overground and hackney down station both nearby and loads of bus routes to place like Dalston and west London.

Street is made of good mixture of home owners and renters and is a very desirable location due to it being very trendy.

Loads of shops now with alot of then very trendy shops but has become car free so impossible to drive or park in area anymore.
