I like that it’s a popular area with a wide variety of shops but I don’t like the noise level,crime rates and teenagers around here since it causes a lot of trouble.

In lewisham you have all types of transport such as buses,car,bicycles,scooters and train etc.The hygiene of the buses aren’t always the best but I’m sure they clean them but the community don’t take that into consideration and litter.The traffic can be a bit annoying sometimes especially when there’s road work or a incident.There are night buses but only a certain amount going to certain places.

My street is quite quiet during the daytime when the children are in school but during the afternoon and evening it would progressively get a bit louder when the children are leaving the train station and walking whilst chatting a bit too loud causing some disruption but other that it’s perfect. Most people who live on my street are renters but there’s only like 10 doors since it’s mostly shops and takeaways on my road. The parking is alright but you would need a permit or parking ticket unless it’s the weekends.The bin collections are on Tuesday around 7/8am it’s quite loud sometimes when I’m half conscious but most of the time I would sleep fine not knowing it’s happening.

There is quite a wide range of shops in lewisham here but they aren’t always open so you have to make sure you know the opening times.Lewisham shopping centre is normally where people meet up it’s quite loud in this area but in specifics bits it could be quiet.If it’s night you have to be careful because lewisham is known for the crime that goes on and the emergency services here take quite long to respond to you.In all the years I lived here it’s quite cold during most of the seasons.

Lovely atmosphere and area, suitable for childen or pets due to the nearby parks. I would consider this a very safe area, haven't had any issues to think differently.
Transport
Hither Green station is a 5 min walk where trains can take you to London Bridge, Waterloo and Charing Cross in 20 mins. Plenty of buses that can take you to Catford, Woolwich, Greenwich.
Community
Absolutely no traffic noise, a very quiet street. Lovely looks to Manor Park from the back windows. There are parking availability in front of each buildings. Not really a student area, more likely to see families and kids playing in the nearby parks.

Lovely and quiet area with local shops nearby, including hairdressers, coffee shops, pharmacy, restaurants. There are several well maintained parks nearby as well. Lewisham shopping centre also offers a wide variety of shops in 15 mins walking distance.

Although not the most up and coming, there are certainly nearby areas that are worthy of note and we are well served with amenities, shops, eateries and community spaces. There are definitely communities around that are doing their best to regenerate the area. The area could do with a little more regeneration as there are some areas that are particularly run down and others that can feel unsafe if out alone. Generally though this is an affordable, friendly and connected place to live.
Transport
The links to central London are surprisingly good in SE what with the rail service. I can get conveniently to London Bridge and Waterloo from Catford, Ladywell and Lewisham. It is unfortunate that there is no tube service in this area, which means that it is more difficult and inconvenient to travel west to Brixton, for example. This connection could significantly improve the area, as well a perhaps extending the overground to serve more of the South East.
Community
Living on this street is convenient for proximity to shops and amenities, unlike a 10-15 minute walk away which is quieter but less well connected. On the whole the area is quiet, with no noticeable anti social behaviour. We hear the occasional ambulance for the hospital but nothing that is too intrusive or keeps us awake at night.
Amenities
There are lots of lovely places in the area for socialising, eating out and walking. During the lockdowns on 2020 I particularly liked taking walks in Mountsfield Park where there is a lovely park cafe offering hot drinks, cakes and speciality sandwiches to takeaway. The park is big enough for long enough walk and it’s easy to find a good route. I also enjoy the range of cafes and eateries nearby in Ladywell. There is plenty of choice but I’m a particular fan of Mama Dough for pizza and Oscar’s for coffee!
