I love how central it is. Super convenient as it's walking distance to my uni, Oxford Street, amenities such as the gym, grocery shops, post office etc. I don't like how expensive it is. The rent is ridiculous for the size of the room I'm getting. Food here is pricey too so living costs can be high. Atmos quite trendy. I think it's suitable for pets but not sure about children in my personal opinion - I don't think central London is the best place to raise a child. It's relatively safe.
Transport
Very convenient. Close to Russell Square station and 10mins away from Kings Cross. There are bus stations nearby too. Overall quite reliable. No central line tube nearby but we can always change at a different station so not a problem. No overground and unsure about cycle routes as I don't cycle. It's very central so traffic can be quite bad especially during rush hour.
Community
Not many parking spots available but understandable as its central London. Bin collection is after 7pm every day which is quite annoying sometimes eg you have dinner plans, get home late and can't be bothered to take the trash out at that hour. Traffic noise isn't too bad but I have heard shouting from time to time which can be scary. Most of the tenants in my building are students renting rooms. There are lots of students in the area as it's close to universities. I'd say the community here is mostly renters - students, working adults, not many families.

Lots of shops, restaurants and bars and in the heart of London. Brunswick Centre is quite popular as it holds many restaurants, a gym and shops like Waitrose and Sainsburys. There's even a post office down the street. Nothing is missing that I can think of. Only con is that it's a more expensive area.

I really like the fact that everything is accessible since we live in Central London. The atmosphere is vibrant and lively. We are near Oxford Street as well, so many shoppers are all over the place in search of trendy clothings etc. Area is also suitable for children and pets. There are schools and parks nearby. I can say that our place is generally safe for everyone.
Transport
Transport is very convenient. Bus and tube stations are very accessible. They are trying to maintain order and cleanliness as much as possible. Traffic is a common problem since there are a lot of vehicles on the road especially during rush hour and also narrow streets and roads are factors that affect as well.
Community
There are plenty of good things such as availability of parking, presence of bicycle docking stations and nearby bus and tube stations. Regular bin collection is another good point. Some of pf the drawbacks are traffic and traffic noise since our flat is beside the main road. Mostly, renters live on our street particularly students since there is a nearby university.
Amenities
There are plenty of local shops, pubs and restaurants since it’s within Central London and near the West End. Pubs and theatres are very popular among the locals and tourists. I can say that most things are readily available within our area.

Lots of green spaces which is quite surprising for London. Some of the roads need replacing but mostly quite good. There’s also a fair few tourists.

Russel square tube is very congested because of the lifts so sometimes you have to walk to Holborn which isn’t great. There is a fair amount of moped crime but it’s not higher than the rest of London.

A lot of students and professionals. It’s a very young area with few families. Parking is a nightmare and it is in the congestion zone

Bloomsbury has a great range of bars cafes and restaurants. It’s got one great gym and a few other smaller ones sitter around. It is also famed for its second hand book shops which are incredible
