The area is suitable for children but not so much for young children because of the roads. There is not much of a play area where you can monitor the children from the comfort of your home but there are local parks which are certainly family-friendly and convenient to use. I like the closeness of the shops and convenience of local stores the most. What I dislike the most is that since the walls are really thin, you can hear cars driving or beeping in the night. But overall, it is generally a safe area.
Transport
There are many forms of transport very close by so I’m very satisfied with the availability of this. There are a range of buses, and there are quite a few tube stations which have many train lines making it more convenient to travel using this mode of transport. There are also public bicycles but regarding cycle routes, I don’t think the particular area I live has them. However, a problem with using the bus is that sometimes a bus would take extremely long to arrive. So it would be convenient and useful if there were bus times shown in the bus stands for people without access to the internet to use.
Community
There are normally families living in my area but regardless of this, the area is relatively quiet and peaceful. My neighbours are extremely friendly and reliable people. Regarding bin collections, maybe it could be done more frequently since many people use the bins, otherwise it seems fine to me.
Amenities
There are many local shops around my area which is very convenient for everyday shopping, such as Lidl, Tesco, Iceland etc. There’s no need to spend a lot on travel as it is of walking distance. The local shops and stores sell quality products with decent prices to customers so there is not much to change about them, generally. However, maybe there could be more restaurants in the area which offer food for people with different diets and lifestyles; to be inclusive and also gaining a broader range of customers.

The quality of shops is excellent with Lidl, Tesco and lots of independent shops in the area. There is a big park in the area as well with lots of kids amenities and open grass spaces for exercise and relaxing. Restaurants are scattered all over the place and many of them are really good with excellent service and food. The regents canal is one of the iconic parts of this area and it runs through the area, eventually linking up with the river Thames. The area also has very good transport links with the tube, C2C, DLR and local buses all within a reasonable distance. This area could be improved by maybe increasing the amount of retail shops and other amenities such as barbers, nail salons etc

Very little traffic noise. Most of my area are house owners couples and families. There are a lot of parking spaces but there are no bin collections.
