There is ample parking on my street. My street is a mix of tenants and owners. There are not many young children, but there are quite a few students who rent, but I have never had a noise or nuisance problem with anybody. There are weekly bin collections and the street is kept clean by the council workers who sweep the day after the bin collection has happened which is sensible. There is a little aircraft noise, but the flight paths change often so that one week may be quiet whilst another might be a little closer and therefore there is sometimes more noise. There is no traffic noise to speak of as my street has a dogleg at the end and therefore the adjacent streets are quicker so they take more traffic.
Amenities
West Kensington from my perspective is quiet and there is little traffic in my road. I am a 2 minute walk from Normand Park. There is a bowling green, tennis courts and swimming pool all within a few steps from my door. I am very close to the shops in North End Road. There are also some really nice restaurants and pubs, together with doctors surgeries an dentists in the area as well as good schools. I love where I live.

I like the diversity of the area. I've lived here for 36 years and wouldn't want to live anywhere else. I've brought up two children here and owned pets until the last one sadly died. In my opinion the area is a great place to bring up children. There are problems, as there are in any inner city area but I've always felt safe here.
Transport
In W14 we are served by both the Barons Court Tube and West Kensington tube station, the Piccadilly line and District Line, so we are can either be at Heathrow in 40 minutes or Knightsbridge in about 10 minutes. The buses are great and will take you to High Street Kensington, Wandsworth Shopping Centre (No 28) or Richmond on the 391

I live on a very quiet road in W14 , so quiet it could be in the country. Parking is permit only and easy, there is always space available. Bin collections are twice a week , the streets are kept swept most days and any rubbish that people dump (always mattresses) is dealt with very quickly. I think mostly owners live on my street with a smattering of renters.
Amenities
The range of quality shops etc is incredible, spoilt of choice., the Deli Bar is especially good for brunch. I enjoy the different and diverse choice that North End Road has to offer and equally I enjoy the Barons Court end with a fabulous butcher, French cafe, and a wonderful fashion boutique, quite expensive but great sales. We really do have it all in W14 ;-))
Perham Rd, W14 9STgood tube connection to zone 1
The best part of the area that it has good tube connection to zone 1. The tubes can be reached easily and come every few minutes. Furthermore the big Tesco is convenient for grocery shopping. There are not many chain restaurant available unless you walk to early Court.

The nearest tube station are West Kensington and Barons Court which can be reached easily by walking there. Furthermore there are bus connections also available.

Parking is available in certain areas unless you are a resident. Mostly families and some student who study at imperial live in that area. But it is a good mix of different people living in there.

There are a few restaurant near by. However there is a massive Tesco store which can be reached by walking. This is very convenient to have nearby.
