The Highway, E1W 3EUVery convenient for City and Canary Wharf. Lovely along the river.
Lacking a centre. Area alongside the river is very nice but as you go away from the river the areas look a bit more run down.
Transport
DLR is nearest. Also Wapping train station. Have to go to Commercial Road for most buses towards city but that’s ok. Highway is a very busy road for traffic. Not nice to walk along. Parallel walk through Wapping woods and canals is nice. Good having cycle path on Cable Street. Sometimes doesn’t feel very safe walking between Commercial Road and The Highway which have to do walking back from buses

Have offstreet parking. Bit of drinking by the river sometimes but they are generally ok other than leaving rubbish sometimes. Highway always quite noisy with traffic. Can be difficult to get on or off the road.

Not many shops in the direction of Wapping. Supermarkets nearby, particularly Canary Wharf. No real centre to Wapping. Thames path nice for walks but quite busy. Walks up through Mile End Park to Victoria Park. Seems to be missing a public area where people mingle (no centre to Wapping).

This area is very aesthetic you will feel as if you’re in a part of america! The area is suitiable for kids to elderly to students everyone’s welcome !!

In E1w alone there are at least 5-8 Santander bike docks to travel and several bus tops along with a overground called wapping which is all very easy to access. Preferably I enjoy walking around this area as you can take in more and greet the welcoming people from this area

21 wapping lane is the most beautiful part of wapping as my estate stands out with its beautiful , complex and rich design , I love sitting in my garden and taking in the peace and quiet with the beautiful water fountains around to enjoy especially during lockdown makes it all the better

My area feels like a spectate city to London!! A great range of amenities and views in my area alone it is just beautiful, only a minute walk down and You’ll be presented with several dinners and corner shops with a local post office all very local with great and friendly people around , many places to eat with family and friends and several pubs to have a good night out. Many open spaces to take in the fresh air and view like wapping park or hermitage park with many riversides to enjoy such a brilliant water view with boats and at night especially where the London bridge and shard lights make it very aesthetic. One amenity I would add to such a lovely area like this is A barber shop!!! A real niche in the market.

It’s very mixed, some really expensive accommodation & associated restaurants but then turn the corner & some very poor areas

Good transport links, DLR, Overground, bike lanes & good bus links. Plus good amenities are within walking distance. Lots of traffic though so I tend to avoid driving & near congestion charge

Mostly rented but very near the river which is beautiful but lots of walkers who can be noisy late at night. But general good social behaviour

There is very little variety of shops. there’s a real lack of a nice wine bar or similar. The restaurants are limited but really good!
