Living here suits us as we work close by and had access to the facilities - shops, gym, restaurants - that we need. However if you would like a vibrant nightlife and a wide range of bars and restaurants and shops this area May not tick those boxes. The street could benefit from some regeneration as there quite a lot of takeaways and ship fronts that look quite shabby.
Transport
There is good overland train access to Waterloo and Victoria from Queenstown Road and Battersea Park Stations. 452 and 137 buses are regular and the nearest tube is Sloane Square - about a 15 to 30 minute bus journey (depending on time of day travelling). At rush hour it can be busy to get the bus to Sloane Square and walking can be quicker.

The accommodation is mainly flats and the age range is mostly mid 20s to late 30s - a mix of owners and renters. The street can be quite noisy, especially at rush hour but if property is double glazed this isn’t an issue. Parking is relatively limited compared to the amount of households.

Queenstown Road has close access to groceries such as a Sainsbury’s Local and Tesco Express, as well as a couple of smaller corner shops, one of which has a post office counter. There are services such as pharmacies, dry cleaning, nail bars and hair dressers, however no clothes shops or specialist shops such as a butcher or bakery. There are a couple of restaurants and pubs, but a better range can be found in nearby Clapham Common and Northcote Road. The extensive and beautiful Battersea Park is also just a 15 minute walk.

If I didn't live here and had a choice to move here, my main question would be I be 'Is the area upbeat and modern'. Personally I wouldn't say it is, although there is a sense of party life, the houses are still victorian and not that many modern builds.

London transport is the best means of transport for this are, with bus stops every few hundred meters and plenty of tube stations. And of course not forgetting Clapham Junction.
Community
Unless you actually live in the area, parking can be an issue especially on the main high street. As with most areas with shops and a busy train station the noise level is not low. The people here are great and diverse in culture and race.

There are plenty of pubs, bars and restaurants to keep you interested and many cafe around if your the coffee type. There are open spaces and parks if your the quite type, however, if your not familiar with the area you will have go looking for them. There are plenty of named brand shops and is perfect if you use London transport as parking space could be an issue.
