A beautiful and developed place; Blackhorse Lane

It's a very trendy area, undergone gentrification and so there are alot more young upper-class individuals moving into the area as the old reprobates from before have moved out and into different areas, there's alot of development around my area including the building of new accommodation and houses.

Transport

There are two main stations relatively close, Blackhorse lane Station is just down the road and Walthamstow Central station is also just down the road, there can be traffic coming from either side depending on rush hour and trains are fairly okay when it comes to cleanliness and maintenance. Busses do run until midnight however so it could be better.

Community

The area is nice and clean however there is a little bit of traffic noise from cars and such due to my road being a main road, down the street there is a student accommodation however my neighbours are nice as I've been living here all my life.

Amenities

I grew up in this area, and growing up it was somewhat rough around the edges, there were a few gangs here and there such as priory court and the Mali boys down the road in Walthamstow but as gentrification came the area upgraded considerably, its a very safe neighbourhood with a thriving community, a very accessible train station (Blackhorse Lane) lays just down the road in a straight line and there's even a nice Comic book shop on the way (Krypton Comics). The E17 area is a multicultural melting pot with all sorts of people living in and around it, the streets are recently paved so the ground looks nice and clean with a local Co-op and Europe's longest market being around 30 minutes walking distance. Lloyd's Park is a fairly busy place due to its natural scenery and the skate park that is good for any children interested in skateboarding, restaurants such as Le Delice and others along the way to walthamstow are popular and thrive even during this pandemic, there's even a cinema as you get deeper into Walthamstow. As a rule of thumb, walthamstow is very populated and popular due to tha market and the shopping centers, it serves as a local community hub as there are loads of kind people that are helpful with finding places and locations.

It has so much green space and forest areas as well as really nice clean parks

I live my local area it has great nurseries primary schools and secondary schools . It has so much green space and forest areas as well as really nice clean parks . The transport links are great and make it so easy to move around. Walthamstow has great places to eat and loads of things to do . After the new regeneration especially around lower Walthamstow market and at beamed street and the village housing prices Have increased massively .

Transport

Incredible transport links, not only do we have Walthamstow Central tube station with great connections to all of TfL’s tube lines but also have many overground stations eg Walthamstow queens road and Blackhorse Road . We also have loads of bus routes.

Community

Most families live on my street . One good aspect is the forest so close (at the top of my road) and being so close to the motorway but not being able to hear it as well as the handly local corner shops

Amenities

There are lots of cafes and coffee shops are puns wood street and the village as well as a good range or restaurants around hoe street and Walthamstow Central that are very popular . There are also tons of open green spaces e.g Lloyds park and Epping forest
